No. The rubber back is made to grip hard floors: wood, tile, stone, laminate and sealed concrete.

What size rug pad do I need?

About 1.5 inches smaller than your rug on every side. Order the size closest to your rug, or the next size up, and put your exact rug size in the order notes; we cut it free. See the rug pad size chart.

Is Durahold Plus safe for hardwood floors?

Yes. It is natural rubber and felt with no PVC or adhesives, so it will not stick to, stain or yellow a hardwood finish. For vinyl plank, check with your floor’s maker first.
