Which size? 2x3 or 4x6 by a bed or in an entry; 5x8 for a small living room or under a loveseat; 8x10 for most living rooms (front sofa legs on the rug); 9x12 or larger for big living rooms or under a king bed.
Rug pad: Hand-hooked rugs have a cloth backing finished with latex, which can slip on hard floors and rub off on wood finishes. A pad keeps the rug in place, protects the floor and adds cushion. Our premium rug pad, custom cut (Durahold Plus™) is cut to your exact rug size.
Care: Vacuum regularly without a beater bar, rotate every few months for even wear, and blot spills right away with a clean white cloth. For a full cleaning, use a professional rug cleaner. Some shedding is normal with new wool rugs and fades with regular vacuuming.
Colors can look slightly different from screen to screen. Rugistan® is an authorized Amer Rugs dealer — free shipping in the contiguous U.S.

About this rug, answered
Is this rug one of a kind?
No. This design is made in multiples by the maker. Our own hand-knotted rugs, found under Hand-knotted and Afghan rugs, are the one-of-a-kind pieces.
Where does it ship from, and how fast?
This rug ships new from the maker's U.S. warehouse, not from our showroom floor, and we email tracking as soon as it leaves. Shipping is free in the contiguous U.S. and the 30-day return applies.
Can I see it in the showroom first?
Not this exact rug; it ships from the maker. Chat with us and we will tell you plainly how its colors, pile and weight compare with rugs on our floor, and if it is not right in your room the 30-day return covers it.
Can I get a swatch first?
Yes. For a flat $50 we send an 18" x 18" swatch of this rug's design from the maker, and the $50 covers shipping both ways. Use the swatch button on this page, so the order shows which rug it is for.
Will it fit my room?
The exact size is listed above. For a living room, leave about 18 inches of floor around the rug and keep the front legs of the sofa on it. Chat or text us your room measurements and we will tell you honestly if it fits.
Can I add a rug pad to it?
Yes. Every rug page has a box to add a Durahold Plus felt-and-rubber pad trimmed to the size you choose, so the two can arrive together; it keeps the rug flat and still on wood, tile and vinyl.
