Where it fits
Small-rug size: an entry, in front of the kitchen sink, beside a bed, or a mudroom. Kilims slide more than pile rugs, so we cut a Durahold Plus felt-and-rubber pad to this rug's size.
Care
Vacuum on low suction and turn it over now and then; both faces are finished. Have it washed by a professional rug cleaner when it needs it.

Care: vacuum without the beater bar and rotate it once a year. For spills, blot with a clean, damp cloth. For a deeper clean, a professional rug cleaner who works with handmade rugs is the safest choice. We clean and repair hand-knotted rugs and cut a Durahold Plus pad to this exact size.

About this rug, answered
Is this the only one?
Most of our handmade rugs are one of a kind. If the listing says one in stock, this is the only one, and it is on our floor in Chicago or Evanston until it sells.
Can I see it before I buy?
Yes. Visit either showroom, take it home on approval, or ask us for a FaceTime or video walk-around so you see the colors in daylight before we ship.
Is this rug guaranteed authentic?
Yes. Like every handmade rug we sell, it carries a lifetime guarantee of authenticity and quality. It is what this listing says it is: hand-knotted or handwoven, with the origin, age and materials described. If it ever proves otherwise, bring it back for a full refund.
Will it fit my room?
The exact size is listed above. For a living room, leave about 18 inches of floor around the rug and keep the front legs of the sofa on it. Chat or text us your room measurements and we will tell you honestly if it fits.
Does it come with a rug pad?
Every rug page has a box to add a Durahold Plus pad custom cut to the rug, so the two can arrive together. Rugs over $1,000 include that pad free: keep it in your cart and tell us in chat or in the order note, and we take the pad off the total before the order ships.
