About this rug

A hand-tufted rug is made by punching yarn through a backing cloth with a tufting gun, then fixing a second cloth over the back. It gives a thick, even pile at a modest price; it is not hand-knotted.

Where it fits

Runner size: a hallway, a galley kitchen, the length of a bed, or a landing.

Care

Vacuum regularly without the beater bar; a new tufted rug sheds a little at first, which is normal. Blot spills right away with a dry cloth. Tufted rugs have a glued backing, so keep it dry: spot clean only, do not soak it, and follow the care label from the maker.
